They can choose to dictate specific parts of your life, such as what you can eat or wear, as well as how you will act in situations.”

“They will suddenly know of the control they have over you, and people will tolerate anything you are **** to do unless your owner decides otherwise. They could even choose to let you go topless through school all day, and no one would stop you, though I bet they would love to look! They will also have full rights to make any decision for you, in a legal sense, as well as override any decision you have made.”

She barely remembered Ben so it couldn't be him. She spread some nasty gossip about the other cheerleaders, and some exes, before but that was pretty much just part of school life. She had been hounding her dad to get her a new car, shouting at him when he suggested looking at used vehicles, but that was nothing more than some minor family friction, he just did not understand that she deserved better than some old Toyota Camry. She could be fairly rude to the maid, granted, but her family let her work here so she should be grateful!

The line went dead. She looked around the kitchen while listening, but all was quiet and still, before letting out a breath. Dismissing it as a terrible prank, she would have someone get at him for this; she pulled her toast from the toaster. Her mind toyed with the idea of the curse. If it had actually been real she could have tossed it back at him, dared him to do it again and turn her back to normal, or cause the nerd to transform into something far more humiliating then he wanted her life to become.
