Chapter 3 by Sorenus Sorenus

What do you want information on?

Continents

This page contains the General world layout and how it came to be. It will link to more detailed information on each continent.

———————————————————————-

During the Great Magic War, mages with extraordinary amounts of power existed, capable of changing the landscape. The amount could vary.

Things like creating trees or craters in the ground were relatively common.

Creating lakes or Caves took more power, but were still not very rare.

It was a bit more rare that a mage could be seen as powerful enough to move or level mountains, or create large ravines and canyons.

The next step up could create biomes-including entire mountains, forests, deserts, or plains. They could create massive rivers too.

The strongest mages could create entire islands, level entire nations, and even completely move entire tectonic plates.

All of these mages exerting their powers has left the world looking far different than it did at the start.

The world now has three main continents that span through much of the world. The rest is sea-except the poles which are still ice. There are also a large number of islands throughout the world.

The continents are basically arranged in a triangle formation, with one at the top of the triangle, and the other two in the bottom corners.

Our first continent is Estrona, the North-most continent. It contains what used to be Greenland and what Used to be North America. The shape is a bit of a blob, although you could fit most of the mass in a rectangle that’s longer than it is tall. It has the middle size of the three, and the least resources (although it still does possess many resources, they just aren’t in mass abundance.)

To the South-East of Estrona is Mascule. It contains what used to be Europe, Most of Africa, and South America. It is the smallest of the three continents. It comes out to be roughly the shape of a three leaf clover facing downward, although the leaves wouldn’t be quite as defined. Perhaps think more of a vent diagram with three circles-one at the bottom, one top-left, the last top-right. If anybody else can get an idea but has a better way to put it, please let me know.

To the West of Mascule, and South-West of Estrona, is Farralan. Farralan is the largest of the continents, and is basically what remains of Asia-having largely the same shape as to what Asia is today, although some slight differences.
