"I spent most of the money already!" She hustles over to her vanity table and pulls out one of the draws. "You spent the money you owed her on that?"

She wraps her hands around her breasts and softly pushes them up. "But look at them..."

You stare at them. "Y-Yes. They're very nice."

"I usually make enough to pay it off, but I forgot that I didn't make my payment yet. This is bad. She'll cut me off, or worse. She might tell everyone my secret! You've gotta help me, sir." She hurries over to you and places her hands on your shoulders. Her bright eyes gaze into yours. "Please."

You start to get flustered, but you manage to keep yourself together. "Wait a minute. Why do I owe you help? You didn't pay for something you had Dixby make, and she made it sound like it wasn't easy."

She takes a few steps back. "But--"

"You could at least tell me what this big secret is, since I'm roped in now."

"But how do I know you won't tell everyone?"

"Honestly, I might not be a saint, but I'm not an asshole. As long as you're not putting people in actual danger, I'm probably not going to care."

She sighs and leans back against the table. Her eyes stare down between her feet. There's a long pause--an uncomfortable silence. Though eventually, she returns her gaze to you. Not without a look of shame, however. "My real name isn't Bibi. It's just a nickname. It comes from Beatrice Baggerly... See, I've lived in this village my whole life, but nobody ever paid attention to me. My kids moved out. I don't even know how many grand kids they have. I lived alone for a long time. I doubt anyone here would even recognize my real name anyway."

"... Grand kids?"

Bibi turns to stare into the vanity's mirror. "I'm sixty-nine years old. That's my secret."

"The potions Dixby makes. They make you look younger."

"Thankfully I'm pretty spry for my age, but I still get exhausted down there sometimes. Only my appearance changes. It's worth it, though. I bring smiles to people's faces. People pay attention to me. And I look pretty smoking hot too, might I add. Just like back when I was growing up here. Things were wonderful then. But without those potions, I'll just go back to being an old hag."

I'm not sure what to say.

She removes the necklace and places it carefully back into the drawer.

After another pause, you speak up. "What if you work extra hard and make at least most of the money as quickly as you can? At least then she'll know you're trying. People love you down there, so maybe just put in some overtime."

"Would you help me come up with ideas at least?" she asks.

"I guess I could do that."

She sighs and turns. "Or... maybe you could convince her to give me some extra time, so I wouldn't have to work that hard?"

"You're getting careless again. Again, why would I even do that?"

"I could pay you!"

"You spent the money!"

She smiles. Slowly, she brings one of her hands down her neck to cup around one of her tits. It stops at the collar of her barmaid outfit, and her fingers teasingly pinch the fabric to slip it slightly down her skin. "Perhaps I could find another way to pay...?"
