Confident in your choice
You pay off the inkeeper for your breakfast and head off. The trip takes you deep into the forest further than any of the local hunters or woodsman. You know you'll find a lake you have to cross about a mile or so ahaid and then follow it to the right till you see a large boulder with carvings. Several names of lost companions etched into it as not only a remembrance but landmark for those that wish to find the dungeon.
From there you head south until you find a large tree in a clearing and know there is supposed to be a hidden latch beneath the moss.. It doesn't take you long to find it. Once opened it reveals a spiral staircase that leads below the soil, a thin layer of stone holding up some of the mossy earth above.. this is defiantly what you've been looking for.
No one knows who or what created this place, but its assumed to be an ancient burial or tomb.. and at the end of it lie riches beyond mortal comprehension.. It would set you for life.. If you got out that is.
