Complications Arise.

Elliot and Eveline were running down the sewer halls, hearing the moans of Roxy and Lina combined with the horde of Tentacle Raptors on their trail as they were moving as fast as they could. After the two turned a corner, Elliot quickly turned around and waited a second for a raptor to turn the corner, and blasted it with her shotgun at close range, slaughtering the raptor as it fell into the Sewer's muck. A second one ran around the corner only to meet the same fate, and then a third was taken out by Union. After that, the Raptors slowed down their chase, but the two soldiers heard them, and they knew they were still out there. They kept moving quickly, keeping an eye all around them.

"...How many do you think are left?" Elliot asked Eveline.

"Provided that those three are dead, and I was perfect in counting the number chasing us...at least a dozen and a half." Eveline responded.

"....All right, any plans for going back for Lina?" Elliot asked.

"...No. I don't think we're equipped to undo what Roxy did to her." Eveline replied, and then heard more footsteps.

The raptors burst from multiple angles again, And the duo killed four more through continuous gunfire as they started running down the halls again. They moved, enacted the same plan of killing them when they ran around the corner, and took down two more before they stopped this time.

"How do these things even see anything, they don't even have eyes." Elliot asked Union. "It just doesn't make much..."

Elliot felt her words stopped as she fell to her knees, suddenly losing a lot of energy. "....What's happening..."

Eve went over to Elliot and looked at her arm, where the scratch that Roxy had inflicted across her has become bright pink.

"...Fuck, she poisoned you with something. We'll get you out of here Ell." Eve told her.

"...Don't...call me Ell." Elliot simply responded too tired to say anything meaningful.

Eve lifted Elliot up and started walking towards the sewer entrance with her hanging off her shoulder, which was still miles away. Elliot handed Eve her shotgun with what little energy she had, and tried to keep up, but they were moving slowly. Eve was able to kill one Raptor that tried to surprise them, but shortly after that, she was hearing the whole bunch starting to head to their location.

Eve found another door, hoping for an entrance, and opened it and looked inside only to see...a maintenance room. The room was just there the switches and other maintenance details the sewer required. But this gave Eve an idea, and she quickly lowered Elliot inside the room and shut the door. Eve then raised her **** Rifle towards the path she heard the Raptors coming from, and silently spoke.

"...Come and get it."
