Completely Lost

“I have no idea where I am “ I looked around me only to see endless views of forest and greenery with no outlying features or attributes to help guide my way back to the main pathway. My eyes instinctively began scanning the area for any sort of clue as to where to go, footsteps ingrained in mud, a convenient pathway made by me accidently or hell even a dropped item could maybe start pointing me in the right direction.

Nothing, absolutely nothing, the realization of my situation started to sink in, I was alone in the middle of a giant forest with nothing but a sword which I barely know how to use and a bunch of rations which wouldn’t exactly help me in escaping a lion. Caught in my own frustration “Damn it Damn it if only it wasn’t for that stupid slime I wouldn’t be in this mess” and with that I brought my leg back and kicked a branch far off it to the green void of the forest.

Though In my fit of anger I had failed to take into consideration just how tired and achy and stiff my body was and almost went face first into a pile of leaves and bushes before managing to catch my balance. Which all soon reminded me why that slime caught me in the first place, it was due to my own idiotic decision. My cheeks started to redden as realized just how stupid I was, I had gotten myself into this situation and now I was complaining about it like some kind of spoiled brat, “I really am just a kid”.

With my anger now dissipated and my situation in no state of improving I grabbed my things, choose some random direction, and headed off with the faint hope of “Maybe it won’t be so bad”. It was that bad, my legs and feet constantly tripped and pulled out from under me, my hands **** to grab sharp and pointy branches and trees, my nose was only able to smell the forest around me as I longed for the familiar scent of metal and dust from john’s shop.

Everything hurt, my hands, feet, even my emotion had taken a considerable drop since starting this forest adventure but just as I was thinking of turning back or just accepting my fate a large light was bursting from between two trees, it was the exit. Tears almost being falling due to just how much I had went through in the past few hours but that mattered not now. I ran full speed at the gap almost tripping up on several branches and logs and when I got to the over side I saw.
