College Roommates

Amber left Dirk and Scott in their room to settle in and went back up to the deck to great the next batch group coming on this cruise. As she got up three girls in their early twenties were just getting onto the deck. Julio was with them, loaded with baggage.

The blond guest looked at all the bags and shook her head, "Really sir, we could have gotten them up the ramp. I mean we got them here."

"It is not a problem. Needed the work out." Julio grunted.

Amber smiled as Julio walked on and down into the yacht. "Hello, I'm Amber, owner and operator of this ship."

The blond turned to her and flashed a megawatt smile, "Hi, I'm Kimberly. This is my bestest friend in the whole wide world, Sandra." She said indicating the shorter brunette. Then she turned to the black girl, "And this is Shana. She's our college roommate. And a very good friend of course."

The black girl looks at Amber, "Uh...this...this ship is safe, right? I mean it's not going to sink or anything, right?"

"It's is very seaworthy." Amber replied, with what she hoped was a comforting smile.

"Oh...okay. It's not that I don't trust you...or anything...it's just I have this fear of drowning...when I was a kid I almost got sucked out with a riptide and since then..."

"Totally understandable. Riptides are a very scary situation, I had one myself in fact." Amber snorted a bit, "Probably before you were born. But anyway..."

"No way! You do not look that much older than us." Sandra exclaimed.

"Well, thank you so much. But if you'll follow me I'll direct you to your cabin."
