Climb out of the cot.

You stand up, finding your legs a little unsteady, and look over the bars of what you now realise is a giant cot. It's your room but at the same time it's not. It's the same size and the door, wardrobe and window are in the same places. Even the view from the window is familiar. However, everything else is different. this cot is where your bed was and your desk has been replaced by a similarly large changing table. A variety of baby toys are stacked neatly where you once had a bookcase.

You try to pull yourself over the bars but don't seem to have the strength.

Examining the bars, you notice that there seems to be some mechanism which allows them to be lowered.

You make no progress and, as you shake the bars in frustration, your bedroom door open.

"I see my baby is awake." It's your mother. "Good morning, {if Girl=true}Michelle{else}Michael{endif}."

{if Girl=true}"Michelle?" You ask. "Who is Michelle?"

"That's you, silly." She boops your nose with her finger.

{endif}"What's going on Mom?" You ask as she effortlessly lowers the side of the cot.

"Well right now I'm checking your diaper." She {if Girl=true}lifts your nightie and{endif} pulls the waistband of the diaper out to examine your bottom. "No poopies." She declares happily before feeling the crotch of your diaper. "Dry. Maybe you're not drinking enough water. Are you feeling okay?" She holds her hand against your forehead to check. "No fever."

"You think I'm actually going to use this diaper?" You ask.

"You are in a funny mood today." She laughs. "Let's go have breakfast." She leads the way out of your room.
