Clémence

You float forwards for several seconds, silently and invisibly rushing to meet your victim, tendrils disentangling and then subsequently reforming every few seconds. The darkness around you is oppressive on all sides, and you can only imagine the difficulty that your prey is having as she stumbles forward in the near-total blackness. The sense of confusion, misdirection and...helplessness...must be overwhelming to her inferior human senses. A series of muttered expletives make their way gradually towards you, and you concentrate on staying still and maintaining perfect invisibility. Your target approaches down the middle of a particularly low and rocky corridor, crouching slightly despite her small frame. Her ungraceful footsteps identify her as none other than Clémence, and soon you can make out the whites of her eyes as she edges ever closer to your position. She looks...delectable...in the flesh.

You instinctively hold your non-existant breathe as Clémence walks right towards your figure, seemingly unaware of the fact the you are hovering mid-air right in front of her. She continues cursing at the awkwardly low ceiling as she makes her way forward, her heavy boots clattering on the uneven ground...and then passes straight through you, utterly oblivious. The sensation is bizarre, if not totally unpleasant, as the young warrior steps through your ethereal form. It feels very much as if a gentle gust of air had just passed through the surprisingly physical barrier of your ghostly body, before exiting just as quickly the other side. You take a moment to compose yourself to recover from the strange feeling, content not to rush your movements, before slowly turning around. Your eyes burn into view momentarily as you turn your gaze back to the enticing sight of Clémence from behind, and advance upon the ignorant young woman, hands outstretched.
