Christmas at the kaneko house

sako and her mom decorated the house, only the two of them, because sako's father didn't join, he was a man of tradition and celebrating Christmas was not one of his traditions, so for the first time in like the whole year stood his ground against what sako's mom said and terminantely said that he was not going to be a part of anything involving celebrating Christmas and so he did, it didn't demoralize sako and her mom in the slightest and they still decorated the house and everything, Although they didn't quite get how to celebrate it or what was it about, not that it was very important to them to do it the right way or to research about it, they were to busy to waste time I such things so they limited to only imitate what they saw their neighbors did or something like that, for example their Christmas three was not a pine but a Juniper tree, and there was a crucified Santa Claus hanging on the wall, there was also a print of a strange white haired woman with red eyes and a scythe but sako was sure it was an error in the painting, next to that was another wooden print of a fish wearing a christmas hat, but that was not the end of the oddities, there was also a strange decoration of the birth but the baby Jesus was painted with a Spiderman costume, sako's mom said someone gifted her then figures and all and as she didn't knew anything about Jesus or spider she didn't see anything wrong, then the nacimiento or nativity scene was surrounded by other equally strange wooden figures, there was Joseph holding a bottle of tonayán, and then a figure that looked a lot like a dog but was supposed to be a sheep, there was also a Charizard, several turtles, a Austin powers figure and least but not least the three magic kings wearing Jordans on their feet.

Still sako and her mom saw all of it as amazing, they felt like like they had completely nailed all of the Christmas stuff.
