Chloe calls Carrie

Next morning Chloe sent Carrie an email and agreed a time to speak on the phone.

“How are things?” asked Carrie when she answered the phone.

“Progressing,” said Chloe. “He told me about his session with Maud and what he learnt from that. It sounds as though it was very interesting. I didn’t mention I’d seen Antoine again. It didn’t seem relevant for now.”

Carrie made a note in Chloe and Colin’s file.

“So we talked it through and decided a joint session might make sense,” said Chloe. “He’s trying to work out what to do with his new knowledge and what it means for us as a couple.”

“You’ve both got a lot going on,” suggested Carrie. “You’ll need to work out what the new rules are and how you relate to each other. You can’t put the toothpaste back into the tube!”

“How would that work?” asked Chloe.

“I’ll chat to Maud and we will come up a plan. We might want to involve others in its execution, but if we decide to use Antoine I’ll check with you first to make sure Colin would be ok with that.”

“Thanks for that,” said Chloe. “I’ll let Colin know.”

“I’ll have something with you both as a proposal by the end of the week,” said Carrie.

She hung up and dropped a note to Maud. They would need to put their heads together and come up with a plan.
