Chloe, room with single beds

After thinking it through for a few seconds, Zack decides that the most logical decision is to share a room with Chloe, his best friend.

“Hey, Chloe.” Zack calls to her. “Let’s share a room?”

Chloe smiles. “Sure,” She says. “Let’s get our stuff.”

As everyone takes their luggage to their respective rooms, Zack learns that the pairings went as the following: he and Chloe, Victoria and Heather, Brandon and Ashley and Gavin and Kurt. Brandon and Ashley got one of the two rooms with a double bed, with Victoria and Heather getting the other.

Zack chuckles mentally at the thought of Gavin having to put up with Kurt for two weeks in the same room. This brings him again to thoughts of Victoria. With Heather as her roommate, he doesn’t think that he can find out much about Victoria’s feelings by asking the cheerleader captain about the matter.

”Hell, at this point I’m just glad that she’s not sharing a room with Kurt.” He thinks.

Zack and Chloe enter the room that they’ll be sharing to find two wooden single beds, a dresser with three drawers and a desk with a chair. He turns to Chloe.

“Do you want to use the dresser?” He asks Chloe. “I don’t mind having to keep my stuff in my bag.”

“Thanks, I’ll really need it.” The redhead answers. “I don’t want to keep my clothes inside the bags.”

“You’re welcome.” Zack says as he puts his bag beside one of the beds. He then sits on his bed. “You know,” he says, making Chloe look at him. “This arrangement reminds me of the sleepovers we had when we were kids.”

Chloe smiles with a fond look on her face. “Oh my god, we used to have a blast back then!” She gushes, sitting on her bed. “Why did we stop having those?”

Zack scratches the back of his neck as he begins to ponder about the matter. “Guess we just grew up and found more friends.”

Chloe nods, a thoughtful look on her face. “Yeah, guess that was it.”

Silence came between the two friends, both losing themselves in memories of a not so distant past.

“I know what we should do.” Chloe states, making Zack look up to her. “Let’s honor the sleepovers of the past while we’re here. Let’s have a blast with our friends too, regardless of what happens between you and Victoria.”

Zack grins in agreement. “I think I can do that.”

The sleeping arrangements were taken care of, now what will Zack do? Will he do something alone or will he bring Chloe along?
