Check out the card

You pick up the card from the table. Apparently it's some sort of invitation with a beautiful decorative design by an artist whose Art Nouveau work you recognize--Alphonse Mucha.

It reads--

"Monsieur Mucha prie

M____

de vouloir bien lui faire le plaisir

d'assister a la soiree musicale qu'il

donnera samedi 3 Juin dans son atelier.

           - 6 Rue du Val-de-Grace"

You place the card in your pocket. It might just be worthwhile going to an evening of music at the artist's studio. What an exciting article that would be for The Blue Book!
