Chatting (gossiping more likely) with some other high born ladies

You wander through the army camp for a minute or two before you hear the unmistakeable laughter of your beloved Athena. You follow it to a large, well lit tent and enter.

"Oh, my lord Ethelid, we were not expecting you," coos one of the assembled noblewomen.

"I was just looking for the lady Athena," you say, "Though I did not expect to find such women of high birth engaged in idle gossip at this time of night."

Your wife looks at you and laughs as she responds, "Well how can you expect us to behave differently? This dreadful army camp is alright for you men. You love all of this art of war nonsense, but what excitement could us ladies find here if we do not create our own?"

"My dear, I hope I can be quite enough excitement for you all by myself," you say teasingly, "Now come with me, we have much to discuss."

Your wife glances around the room, which erupts in laughter, then comes to you, "I yield to you, of course, my lord. Will you accept the responsibility of amusing me for the rest of the night?"

"Of course you say," finally joining in the laughter, as you escort your lovely wife back to your tent.
