Charlotte Burns

You decide to try and chat with Charlotte, and start talking with her. "So how long have you been doing this?" Charlotte smiles at you and says "I've been doing this for 6 years now."

"Wow, that's great," you say. "It's not too bad," she replies.

"What do you do when you aren't flying?" you ask

"Well, I am mostly with my family. I am married and I have two children" "they consume

all my time" "But I love being with them"

"Do you ever get tired of it?" you ask

"Not really", she answers, "I mean when I'm away, I miss them very much."

You ask her, "what about your husband, what does he think of this job?"

"He thinks it's great, because he doesn't have to work so hard anymore," she says.

You say "whell, if you are here working as a stewardess for 6 years, then you must be the senior cabin crew member." She laughs. "Yes I am, and I am also the head of all the British cabin crew." You decide to introduce yourself "by the way, my name is James"

"Hi, nice to meet you James", she replies.

You feel like talking more, so you continue to talk. Charlotte asks you, "how old are you?"

You laugh. "I don't know, I'm 20 years old," you reply.

"Oh wow, you're young, I could probably be your mother," she says laughing.

Then Charlotte starts to tell you about herself. "My name is Charlotte Burns, and I am originally from Manchester."

"That's cool", you reply and ask "how long have you been married for?"

"Whell, I am 45 now and I got married at 28 so that is 17 years ago" "and we have two children, a boy and a girl"

You say "That sounds great"

Charlotte continues to talk with you all up until the plane begins its descent. You feel like it will be a nice flight, especially as Charlotte seems friendly and easy to talk to. You notice it's still pretty dark outside, but you can see your destination on the display screen. Before the plane begins its final descent, you walk up to Charlotte and say "I would love to chat with you later on, so may I have your contact details?"

Charlotte smiles. "Sure thing, I'll give you mine."

You look into her eyes and say "okay" Then you go back to your seat. You close your eyes, and you think to yourself "she likes me" and you are happy and excited. You open your eyes to see the sun is rising, and you think to yourself "wow we have arrived". You look out the window and you see you are over Hungary. The pilot announces "Cabin crew, that's 10 minutes to landing, 10 minutes to landing" You say "Great, we are ready to land"
