Cave within the mesa!

You shimmied and eventually crawled out into the more open space, a cave system very close to the outside world. One one side was the open space of the outside world where you could see sunlight flow from. It would be easy for you to fly out and away from your old home and old life with your flock of sisters.

On the other side was the space further into to the cave, filled with Stalactites and stalagmites, some water actually dripping from the top and making noises that echoes across the cavern. You remember that sometimes you and your sister heard noises not all that natural come from there.

You nervously paced the room, highly unsure o what course of action was best to take and you were burning some valuable daylight.

Question was where to go. You could make some shelter deeper within the cave and plan to make a new flock within the safety of the mesa's depths. Or you could go out outside and explore for other potential places to go, further away from the rival group that took your sisters. Either way carried great risk since you were a lone harpy. The outside world with its greater variety of dangers to the cave and it's tight spaces with little room for evasion.

As it goes, a lone harpy was probably a fucked harpy. At this point, what would fuck you the least?
