Cat grew up impoverished after his parents were thrown out of the merchant industry in a political coup by rivals. He learned how to use stealth and cunning at a very early age, honing his speed and agility when he started small-scale thieving in the large Human city of Lowendaise. As he grew up, so did the scale of his theft, even going so far as to steal precious jewelry from a group of Dwarven miners, using honed **** skills to kill all of the Dwarves quietly. Luck ran out for him when he attempted to steal the heirloom of a visiting princess in the hope of scoring a ransom. Caught by the royal guard, that was led by an Elven wizard, he spent a week in the dungeon. However, just when he was going to be executed for the years of theft and ****, Cesar & Janissa intervened. Having the need for a trap-defusing rogue, Cat was given the chance to redeem himself for the city by helping the guild founders deal with a **** trading ring. His help in destroying the **** trade in the region granted him a full pardon, and in return, he joined the guild.
