Cat's Dilemma

Monday 4:35 PM

Veronique, still feeling bad about what just happened, grabbed her phone to check her messages. She saw she had 4 missed Messages from Catharina, 'Thank god it isn't Jack!' she thought, 'I need to get this out of my head.'

Cat: "Hey bitch, so I just got home early from work to get ready for my coffee date with that stud. And I need your opinion on which lingerie I should wear ;). These are the 2 options:"

Cat: or

Cat: "OMG I feel so excited in either one, I cant wait!! Let me know quick.xxx"

As soon as Veronique saw the pictures a sting of jealousy went threw her, Cat looked so sexy in either one. And even though she wouldn't admit it to herself, Veronique didn't like the idea of her friend getting together with that beautiful man. 'Why do I feel this way?' she thought 'He is single, she is single and I am married for fucks sake!' She was starting to get frustrated with herself now. 'Alright get it together Veronique! Just help your friend out with her date.' But in the back of her head she was already contemplating that she had to look better then that bitch for her own date tomorrow.

Veronique quickly shook it of and responded to her friend; _"Daamnn girl, you're gorgeous in both!! But I'd definitely pick the second one! It looks so much better on you. Have fun!xx" _She immediately got a response.

Cat: "Thanks babe ;), I for sure will!! TTYL xx"

Veronique felt bad about lying to her bestie, in her opinion the white one was much sexier! But if she wanted to compete this was the way to go right? Now all she had to do was make sure that she looked better tomorrow.

As she got back to work, Veronique started to feel bad again. 'Was this cheating? What was she gonna tell her husband? Was she planning on telling him at all??'

The rest of the work-day went by slowly for Veronique, as usual she was one of the last ones still working at the firm. But eventually it was time for her to go home.
