Carthin's Valiants

The strongest and most devout Hunters in Carthin are known as the Valiants. Because the church works closely with this branch, many of its members specialize in hunting demons and witches.

Loxley is one of the few hunters that has been ordained as a priest. Because of this he is also one of the few that can use Holy magic. He has devoted himself to spreading the Church's influence and uses his Guild connections to hunt those he deems "Unclean." He is a fanatic when it comes to his beliefs and although he normally is cool headed, he can become irrational when faced with possible Demons or heretics.

Larisa is a sweet young woman whose mother was **** by a werecat. Unlike most offspring who are either human or born werecats, She was born an odd mix of both. She looks fully human but with cat ears. She can also grow sharp claws at will. She is incredibly quick and can speak to animals. Her best friend is a Hawk named Zaltan (Though she usually calls him Zalty)

Loxley grudgingly accepts Larisa as a Huntress because of her skill but looks for any excuse to slay her, seeing her as an abomination. Larisa is very self conscious about her ears and often wears a hat to hide them. She has trouble getting close to people because she is afraid of rejection. She can be be incredibly shy around New people because of this.

Mason is the big brother the Larisa never had. He keeps and eye on her and keeps Loxley at bay. Although he often works with Larisa, Mason usually takes the more dangerous missions alone. He does work for the church regularly, hunting witches and seeking out information on possible demon cults.
