With a sigh Ted carried on down the stairs to find Lydia diligently minding his sunny side up eggs. He basked in the image of his doting wife hard at work before walking into the kitchen to greet her.
"Good morning my love."
"Good morning dear husband."
They met with a chaste kiss as Ted turned to pick up the steaming hot cup of coffee Lydia had left for him. He took advantage of the opportunity to admire his wife. She was still the image of beauty since they'd met before the war and never changed from there.
