Carrie makes plans for the film

Carrie texted Mae for advice on how to respond to Paul.

Carrie: Hi Mae. We’ve got a request from someone who wants to be in a porn film. He’s open to suggestions. What do you think?

Mae: I’ll give it some thought. We might need to think about venues and locations.

Carrie: That’s becoming an issue for us. We need a place to deliver services from. I’ll get Simon to look into it. We’re beginning to do well enough to be able to rent somewhere.

Mae: I’ll get back to you today. What else do we know about the client?

Carrie: Not much. Just he’s male, probably straight and not too old. But that’s partly speculation on my part.

Mae: Ok. Chat later.

Carrie went through to the bedroom to find Simon.

“We’re going to need to find premises for the business. We’ve been able to use the Black Hole club for some things and borrowed peoples apartments for others, but that’s not sustainable,” said Carrie.

“What are you thinking?” asked Simon.

“We’ll want to be able to use it for different scenarios. So somewhere we can set up an office, bedrooms, probably a room with equipment. Also it would be good if we can fit it with cameras and stuff like that,” said Carrie.

“Equipment?” asked Simon.

“Restraints, toys, that sort of thing,” said Carrie. “Think of the room where Maud and I trained you and Jane.”

“Ok. I’ll see what I can do,” said Simon.

Mae: We’ve put our heads together and come up with a plan. We think we should set up like a proper film set and audition the client to begin with.

Carrie: So like a ‘casting’ film?

Mae: Exactly. That should show him how the process works from the start. We can use the casting to work out what film to make. Did we get a location?

Carrie: Simon’s working on that. I think it will take a few weeks. Could we use your apartment again?

Mae: We could, but I might have another option. A friends parents have a villa out of town. They’re away for the month. I’ll see if we can borrow that for a couple of days.

Carrie: That would be excellent. See what you can do. I’ll let the client know the plan. We can firm up the details later.

Mae: Sure. I’ll give you the address and timings when I have it.
