"Well," you say, "based on that twinkle in your eyes, I'm sensing that something is up. So, I'l going all-in. I choose...Carrie and Jamie."

"My lesbian friends," Sara teases.

"Your sexy and adventurous lesbian friends," you tease back.

Sara swats at your hand from across the table. "I figured that you would choose Alex," Sara says. She laughs, then takes a big gulp to empty her beer. "Go get us another round and then I'll tell you all about Carrie and Jamie."

When you come back to the table, Sara has a devious look in her eyes. You hand her the beer. She immediately drinks.

"Well now," you say, "do I get a double secret? There are two people. Two people, two secrets."

Sara laughs. "I can give you two secrets," Sara says. "But it won't be one for Jamie and one for Carrie—it'll be two secrets that apply to both of them."

"I like where this is going," you say. "So let's do it."

"The first secret," Sara says, "is that technically Carrie and Jamie aren't lesbians. Carrie and Jamie are bi."

"And?"

"The second secret," Sara says, "is that Carrie wants to have a threesome. With a guy. At my wedding." Sara arches one eyebrow and waits for you to do, or say, something.
