Call the number

I pulled over and entered the number into my phone and placed it to my ear, as it started to ring. I was nervous as the phone rang, wondering who would be on the other end? why did it call out to me so much? was it going to be a waste of time?

"Hello, you're through to Trisha at Wanma's. How may I direct your call?" she said kindly.

Half wondering whether to hang up, thinking that this number was obviously a fake I nervously said,

"Hiiii, ummm, I saw your number on a billboard, and err I rang it..." she cut me off before I could say any more,

"Ok thank you, your call will be directed shortly" a bit confused I stayed on the line and then heard in a deep voice,

"Hello, I hear you saw our advertisement, I would like to offer you an opportunity to participate in a study, that at this time cannot be discussed but I can assure you it will pay handsomely among other rewards, are you interested?" Your curiosity peaks even more as you weigh up you decision.
