Call him and make him an offer he can't refuse

You never thought it would work, but Alan jumps at the chance to fly out! You call him first thing Tuesday morning, and after asking his boss and straightening some things out, you coach him how to book a ticket out that night! In the meantime, you and Maddie take in a lot of the free ventures Vegas has to offer, including the fountains at Bellagio, the lions at MGM, and a couple museums. You even play the penny slots for an hour and blow through ten bucks. You do splurge a little on dinner at Kahunaville Island, but you both had a blast, and leave just enough energy to make it back to the hotel. Alan calls just after nine o?clock to let you know he?s off the plane. You give him instructions on finding the hotel and meet him in the lobby a half hour later. After some mutual hugs and a nightcap, you all agree to hit the hay, eager to paint the town for the few remaining days of the trip.

Disaster strikes the next morning, however, as Maddie spends the first hour in the bathroom, emptying last night?s dinner into the toilet. You and Alan feel fine, so you deduce that it was the mock duck (everytime!) that was the culprit. You hang around for a couple hours, playing cards and such, but Maddie?s condition fails to improve.

?Maybe I?ve got a virus,? Maddie groans, nibbling on some saltines you had sent up from the kitchen.

?Probably,? Alan says. ?Why don?t we just make a day of it in here. I can find us a few games to play and we can make it a day long Vegas slumber party.?

?Nonsense!? replies Maddie. ?You two should go have fun by yourselves. I?ll be better tomorrow and we?ll still have two days to have fun together.?

After a little more cajoling, she finally convinces the two of you go on a date in Sin City. Alan suggests going to an adult show (of course). You ask him if he?d like to play some poker and try to repeat your luck from the night before. He indicates that sounds great, too, especially since you probably won?t be gambling the rest of the week. But he insists that you pick.
