The "vine" reaches out and touches you, or more specifically your sleeve.

Instantly it reels back as though it were a snake, then just as quickly it "spits" something at you with an audible hiss. You jerk back and make a start in surprise, feeling the vines venom land upon you.

You scramble to your feet, the vine slides back into the underbrush to wait for its venom to take effect.

A quiet sizzle starts, slowly getting louder, causing you to look down. You robes are disappearing!

"Fuck...!" You scramble to untie your robe and tear it off even though the venom doesn't appear to be injuring your skin. As you strip it off and throw it to the ground though, you also feel the rest of your clothing disappear as well.

Before long you are naked, your robes and remaining clothes a weakly smoking charred and disappearing pile.

Sighing with relief you then freeze, hearing a quiet rustle in the undergrowth you saw the vine.

Turning to look you see it has moved out of hiding and seems to not be a vine at all but a simple creature of several tentacles about a meter long, joined at the centre by a thick ring of... tentacle?

"Well that's a weird body.." you mumble.

You can see a number of thin and short tentacles wave in the air, all pointing vertically from the central ring body of the creature.

Before you can think much else, the creature starts ambulating towards you!

'Oh shit..!'

Its "legs" are about a meter long and look incredibly flexible as well as strong. It could surprise you with its speed.
