Chapter 5 by MissAshleyJ MissAshleyJ

That night.

Burning the midnight oil

Mitsu sat at her desk to look over what her and her brother had created before the boy’s relapse.

Their story, titled “Prince of War” was about a Prince in a techno-fantasy world who is the only one who can operate the giant robot defender of their Queendom because he is the only heir to his mother’s line left after an evil empire has conquered them. Mitsu had to admit, she had a fetish for boys in the fancy gowns European and American men once wore. She’d even bought Aki one for his last birthday, but he wouldn’t touch it, preferring his traditional simple kimono.

She leaned back to look out the door into the kitchen where Aki was cleaning the pots and dishes.

For a split second she thought about him in that dress. The puffy, ball shaped shoulders, the ribbons, the bows, the big skirt.

She began to feel odd. She then realized she was fantasizing about her brother. She smacked herself in the face.

“No… stop… bad mitsu… he’s your brother!” She told herself.

She looked back at Aki. He was 22, well last age of legal adulthood. Sure, he wasn’t legally allowed to live alone, but being her ward at this age, well, odd. Their father married their mother the day after his 20th birthday. Mitsu’s paternal grandparents had wanted him gone as soon as possible it seems. Mitsu’s mother was already in her late 30s at that point. This was actually quite normal for women to marry men much younger than them.

Mitsu also didn’t know her paternal grandparents since it was tradition for a man to completely cut ties with his birth family. His wife’s family was all that mattered. If her even saw his parents for any reason, he was to treat them like they were not related.

If he found Aki a wife, she’s probably never see him again. She almost didn’t want him to leave…

How had their relationship been before this?
