Chapter 6
by alphakennyone
What happens once I exit the bathroom?
Buck stumbles as I open the door.
I unlock the door and turn the knob to open it. As I pull the door towards me, I feel like the door has a mind of its own, swinging open with more **** than what I used to pull it. It seems that when I opened the door, Buck stumbles forward, his head turned sideways and against the ground and his arms flailing forward. I'm startled by his sudden appearance and by instinct I yelp out a tiny scream as I step back a few steps.
Finding himself on the ground, Buck immediately attempt to get himself back up. He takes his arms and put them in a position much like a push-up exercise. By instinct and concern unknown to me, I get down to his level. I ask him, "Are you okay?" As I say this I try to help him get up.
Buck gladly say, "Oh thank you, but I'm okay." He says this as he look straight at my face. I can't help but smile and Buck smiles back. He manages to get his footing and both he and I get back on our feet.
Wanting to know why Buck was at the door, I ask him plainly, "Why were you at the door, anyways? You could've knocked."
"Sorry about that. I noticed that you were in the bathroom for a long time and I didn't want to disturb you. The reason why I fell was because I was putting my ear against the door. But you open the door and I fell," Buck explains.
"Why were you doing that for?" I interrogate him.
Buck, showing signs of emabarrassment, lifts his rights arm and scratches the back of his shaved head. Looking down and not looking me in the eyes he responds, "Well I was curious in what you were doing in there."
I assure Buck that I wasn't doing anything out of place, saying, "I was just checking myself."
A brief moment of silence is put between us
