“Gar, you are ridiculous?” Rachel says as she rolls out of bed. “Not ridiculous, just differently awesome” he says as he stretches after their amazing session. “and I can’t help if you can make my toes curl both outside and inside the bed. Especially inside the bed.” Rachel looks over her shoulder back to Gar and he simply smiles and taps the bed “Why don’t you come back and I’ll make your toes curl” He says with a raised eyebrow. Rachel rolls her eyes but gets back in the bed, snuggling up to him she sighs contently. Gar strokes her hair and says “I’ll always be with you mama, in this life and every other one. You know that right? You can never get rid of me.” Laughing at the last part of his statement. Rachel simmers under her lover’s gaze. She remembers how hard he worked to show her she was more than a demon or something that was evil or could be used for it. After a while of cuddling they both got up and heard a knock on the window. Gar opening the curtain sees Connor hovering outside of their window. “First you know Rae is going to beat your ass for this and second I’ll be ready in 2 minutes.” He says laughing. Rachel glares at Connor “You need to use the door Supes.” She says as she walks in the bathroom. Connor flies around the build and comes to their apartment like a normal human and before Gar leaves he sweeps Rachel into his arms. “I love you so much Rachel. I’ll always love you.” He says peering into her eyes before he kisses her. Rachel melts into his body and returns the kiss with immersive vigor. Breaking off finally. “I’ll see you later for dinner won’t I and Connor don’t ruin his appetite.” She says over Gar’s shoulder. That was the last time she saw Garfield again. The **** of Gar caused psychic pain so profound that she imploded. Losing consciousness in her mindscape she cried and cried.
