Chapter 6 by takacube takacube

Painting a palate

Bright colors, mostly pink, soft white, or yellows

Jim spent the whole day Saturday cleaning up around the house as Laura, having drunken herself into a stupor, lay flat on her stomach in the bedroom with her foot dangling precariously from under the sheets that, to his surprise, she had managed to get over herself and covered with a moderate degree of success. There was a part of him that wondered why she was partying so much and so frequently, though he supposed that was part of the reason he wasn't sleeping that often in the same bed as she was, having endured being thrown up on more than once (sadly, twice in one night...that had done the trick.)

He shook his head and was thankful that he had remembered to put his hair back into a ponytail, what with it now long enough to drape well over his shoulders and onto his chest. After showering in the guestroom's shower, making sure to spend a good amount of time with shampoo and conditioner, he had slipped on a light pink tank-top and some khaki shorts and began to tidy up the rest of the house. It took only a few more hours to get things sorted but despite spending the better part of his Saturday cleaning, Jim smiled and felt invigorated. Not even the gloom and groaning from Laura's direction could distract him from feeling like he had managed to accomplish something good.

4.) IF YOU WERE A GIRL...WHAT WOULD YOUR FAVORITE COLOR BE?

Jim thought about that for a moment and then shrugged. There really wasn't any real way to answer the question personally, though the fun he was having imagining if he was born a girl made him laugh a bit. I'd like bright colors, mostly either pink or soft white, maybe throwing in a bit of yellow here and there.

He turned and after spending a few moments cooking lunch, he grimaced as he noticed that some of the cooking oil had splattered on his shirt and pants. With a sigh, he finished making his lunch and after quickly eating it (not wanting to compound his laundry with getting new clothes dirty), he slipped into the bedroom and went to his drawers, pulling out a long off-white shirt that was oversized, a prank gift from his friend Gavin, that seemed to drape over him, even though he was a respectful 6'2" and broad shouldered. With the weather being a bit chillier than usual, he turned and slipped on a pair of fuzzy yellow socks and slipped on his pair of house slippers, their neon pink undertones made him nod in approval after he glanced at his reflection in the mirror.

He put the rest of the clothes into the washer and after turning it on, reached for his phone and looked through his messages. Nothing but work, work, work, and with a mind to chuck it, he instead logged onto Instagram and snapped a photo of him smiling and flashing a peace sign. #Domestic #Wizard #bored...he laughed at the first one but sent it anyway, spending a few minutes just swiping through some of his friends' posts before he turned back to the table and looked at the quiz.

5.) IF YOU WERE A GIRL...WHAT COLOR WOULD YOUR HAIR BE?

IS it natural?
