Briefing

Ryan enters the tent, and all eyes were on him. There were 4 people: two men, and two women. He recognizes Admiral Cameron Tirex, the top dog of the Anti-Kaiju Command. A standard military general who had too many good men fallen that he decided to euthanize himself to stay on the field longer. But the three others, he does not recognize. Two others were clearly military professionals, with stars on their badge, but the one woman was a scientist, by the looks of it.

"Private." Admiral addressed Ryan, and the Private gave him a salute. In response, the Admiral salutes back. Ryan waits a little longer for the Admiral to set his hand down, before lowering his hand. Then the briefing began.

"As you are aware, the Kaiju has currently laid waste to what was once San Francisco. We are currently keeping her from going in land further, which would cause further casualties, and in response push her to the waters. I have the authority to kill the darn thing, as I have the authority to do so and my mission to protect mankind from harm as a soldier. However, we might as well be throwing peas at the darn thing because what we are currently doing to it is arousing her more. As such, we are currently devising a plan to neutralize the threat and make her return to the ocean. But then Dr. Heather Jensen here..." He gestures to the scientist, who gives him a nod. "Provided us with the potential plan to minimize the future casualties in all relations to the 14 Kaijus that roam our planet."

Heather clears her throat as she explains to the group.

"Each Kaiju is unique in its own way, but the more powerful a Kaiju is, the more likely she will cause others to react in her presence. If a Kaiju were to meet, they would initiate a territorial mating ritual. Whoever loses ends up changing the course. So I was thinking: Would it be possible to initiate this fight so that something like a Kaiju... Or even a Kaiju.. to defend us from other Kaiju?"

It makes sense, he supposed, and Ryan ends up nodding in agreement, but one of the other majors pop up. "How do you mean to provide us with one of these... ah, Kaiju-sized being?"

"Oh. That's where he comes in." She then points at Private Ryan, who proceeds to point it at himself as if to question her.
