Blue stuff

Still nude, you walk along the forest's path, enjoying the gentle warmth of the sun shining down on your body. Nothing is out of the ordinary until you take the trail's next sharp corner. The oak trees here seem in good health but seem tinged in bluish hues. Vein-like markings traveling up and down their trunks pulsate in rhythm. A low pulsating sound hums and fills the air with its beat. You continue further down the path and soon the dirt itself takes on a deeply saturated ultramarine colour. You can tell something is seriously amiss in this portion of the forest. You're curious to investigate, but it could prove dangerous...
