Slowly, but surely, it felt like you are being pulled back into the plane of existence. You suppose this is how babies feel like when they are released into the world, however, you’d never actually know if this is true because you don’t remember the feeling of being born at your human life. In fact… Now that you think of it, you really can’t remember much details when you were a human. Other than your knowledge and a few glimpses of your previous life. The two Dark Gods, Melanoche and Carnachias sent you into this world as the herald of the dark, you will lead the forces evil and bring down mankind. Your past self would definitely object to this, since he was formerly a human, and on top of that, he was a gentle person, might probably even be lawful good. You pondered, who’s controlling this body exactly? My previous persona? Or the new one that had been created? Ah! We can talk about that later! Anyways where are we?

You looked around your surroundings… Look? Well, not exactly look since you have no eyes. More like ‘felt’, but that would be pretty creepy. It seems that you are inside a pretty dark cave, cool, you also noticed that there are no one in here except for you.

First of all, you tried to find an exit. Anything that can get you out of here, but to no avail. It seems that the cave that you are in is pretty deep. You can feel the cold wind blowing through. Wait.. Wind… And a wind in a cave means… the EXIT! You followed the wind and came across a small crevice in the ceiling. You’re too big to fit through though. But… IF you used that skill, shape shifter, you might be able to slip into the crevices towards the exit.

You attached one of your bionic tentacles (you have to get used to the sight of this) to the ceiling and yourself up the tiny hole, making yourself smaller while at it. With a heave and a ho, and a heave and a ho, and another one since why the hell not. You managed to not only get stuck at the crevice, but also hear a male and a female voice conversing from above at the same time.

“Are you sure about this place, Master Citrinas? I mean, there is bound to be treasures in this site, but we don’t really have any intel about this place at all. We should send-“. Before he could speak the girl interjected “I have received enough intel about this plaze, Orfus. You need not to concern yourself, for I am fully aware of the dangers of this place. I am prepared to face anything.” You heard footsteps above you, and also flapping wings?

Using your bionic feelers, you analyzed your surroundings to take a closer look at the conversing figures. You saw a black raven, and a female human mage. Wait, could this be the Arch-Imago Citrinas, Melanoche and Carnachias was previously talking about?

Squinting your (eyes?) you tried hard to remember what details the sisters had revealed to you.

“Fine, if that is what you wish. I shall be heading back to camp, may you achieve what you seek in your travails madame.” The raven spoke, and flapped away (to the exit?).

Well, you got two choices here. Either you can go, follow the birdie and go to the exit… or you know… follow Citrinas deeper into the cave.
