Blaziken

You make your way through the tunnel to the field, shaking with nerves but head held high. You know better than most what pokemon are capable of, but you're determined to put on a good face. By the time you step out onto the short grass of the field, you barely show your nerves. You give the audience a cheeky wave, which they eat up, some clapping and cheering and others booing loudly.

You make your way to the middle of the field as Rotom lists your name and crimes.

"Our first contestant! Weighing in at 5'5" and 108 pounds, it's Green Trainer! Her crime is training pokemon without a license, and the punishment is three rounds in the arena, one for each illegally held pokemon!"

You can't think of anything else to do, so you wave, to various reactions of the crowd. There are a _lot _of people there to watch you, all of them looking forward to your pain and humiliation. You know there are even more watching on the television, thousands or maybe millions! You bite your lip, hoping your family isn't watching.

"Aaand her opponent, weighing in at 6'3 and 116 pounds, iiiiiit's Blaziken!" The crowd erupt in even louder cheers as the tall, humanoid avian appears in a ball of light, landing in a ring of fire with one fist cracking the ground. It stands up, raising its arms to the cheer of the crowd, then turns to you and draws its claw across its throat.

"Blaziken is out for blood tonight. Word in the dugout is he volunteered for this one. Something about unlicensed trainers really sets him off! Things aren't looking good for poor Green!"
