Better Ideas

Once ready, Spencer went down to the kitchen where his nose was again treated to the smell of Jasmine's cooking. Spencer sat next to Amber, who was texting frantically. When she put the phone down, Spencer asked her "All good?"

"Yeah. Just some details being finalized with the business."

"Good to know."

"So you gonna tell Jasmine about your idea?"

Jasmine turned around to the two. "What idea?"

"Oh, uh... well I said if you're having issues finding a job maybe you could cook for me?"

"Mhmm... interesting."

"What do you think babe?" Amber asked.

"You know... I think I've got a better idea?"

"Yeah?"

"How about I teach Spencer to cook? Little less permanent that way."

"That's a good point." Spencer conceded.

"So that a yes?"

"Sure."

"Shall we start Monday?"

"Sounds good to me."

Jasmine then served up breakfast. As he ate, Spencer grew more and more excited for his upcoming lessons, hoping his culinary skills will be at least half of Jasmine's. Once he'd eaten, he thanked the girls and went on home. As he drove off, Jasmine turned to her wife. "Think he's a good candidate to be a daddy?"

"Perfect. Just ease him into it, okay? I know how you get when you're excited."

"Oh of course. I mean who knows? He might have some rare heart condition or something."

"True."

Jasmine's face then lit up with a smile. "Now, about fooling around..."

"Hey, I'm cool with you doing whatever you want with Spencer or whatever man you want, so long I'm the only woman."

"Of course you are Amber."

Amber then raised her eyebrow. "And what about me and Spencer?"

"Well, sharing is caring."

"Glad we agree."
