Chapter 7
by BabyMage
What do you do?
Beg Jane to change everything back.
"Okay. You've made your point" you say. "Please change everything back."
"No." She says. "Then you'll just run away to your new job."
"I promise I won't." you insist. "I'll call them and say I changed my mind."
"Honestly. I couldn't change it back even if I wanted to." She says. "The guy didn't say how to reverse it or even if it was possible."
"What?" You ask. "You did this to me with no way to turn me back?"
"I didn't want to lose you." She says shakily.
"You've lost me anyway." You say, turning away from her. "I'll never forgive you for this."
"I'm sorry." She begs. "What can I do to make this better?"
"Help me get everything back to normal." You say. "Do you still have the rattle?"
"It's in my room." She says. "I'll go get it."
She soon returns with the toy.
"Maybe you can just..." you say. "...wish everything back?"
"I'll try." She says. Shaking the rattle and closing her eyes tightly closed.
Nothing happens.
"Give it to me." You demand.
She hands the rattle to you. You picture your adult life and shake the rattle.
Again, nothing happens.

It's a Kind of Magic
Your new infantile reality.
You are Michael, a man who, just days away from his 21st birthday, still lives with his parents and his 19 year-old sister, Jane. You wake up one morning wearing a diaper and find that your room has become a nursery. It becomes clear that, even though you clearly still have your 20-year-old body and need a giant cot and adult-sized diapers, something is warping everyone else's minds so that they treat you like an 11-month-old.
