Bat-r-rang

I figured my Bat-r-rangs where my best bet. The guy took a wide swing, which I ducked under and ran in the opposite direaction while he had his back turned. Pulling a Bat-r-rang out of my belt as I did. I then turned around to face him just as he turned around the face me. I threw the Bat-r-rang with practiced precision and it struck him in the face. "AAAAARRRRHHHHHH!!!!!" He yelled as he clutched his face and staggered back. His butt hitting the railing at edge of the loading dock. Realizing I had a chance to capitalize, I rushed towards my enemy as fast as I could. I then leaped into the air and kicked him with both my feet, sending him tumbling over the railing.

Didn't think about what would happen after I did that though as I found myself landing on the floor with a thud. Me and my big ideas. I climbed up to my feet and brushed myself off. I looked over the edge to find see that my opponent laying on his back. I couldn't help but smile....and pump my fist in the air in celebration. My first fight as a superhero and I won! YEAH!!!! I stopped realizing I was fangirling and composed myself.

With my foe defeated, I went back to what I was doing: investigating the warehouse. However, it seems that my enemy had managed to prevent me from doing so. When he struck the door, he damaged the locking mechnism. Now it was jammed shut. No way I was getting in there now. I stamped my foot in frustration. Now what was I going to do. To make matters worse, as I went to take my leave, I found that my enemy had disappeared. I threw up my hands in frustration. Great just great. A **** is likely in progress, I was locked out of evidence and worse, I couldn't even find my hoody. So much for being igonito. I went to leave the loading dock went I felt my boot bump something on the ground and send it sliding across the concrete. I knelt down to see what it was. It was a phone. That guy must have dropped it when he tumbled over the railing.

Picking it up, I pushed the home button and found it still worked. It asked for a passcode. Thought maybe I'd have take it home and hack it but I noticed the screen was worn out on the spot where one would press 1. "Surely he isn't that stupid." I said to myself as I pressed 1 repeatedly. The phone unlocked. "I guess he is." Looking through his phone, I found a text line with what I assumed was the asian guy I saw before. THe conversation laid out a plan to kidnap some girl. Evidently, they had been hired by a third party to capture her to be sold as a **** to a big spender. "Not if I have anything to say about it." The text line contained an address of another warehouse. According maps on his phone, it wasn't far. I could be there within the hour if I hurried. But with this evidenced, maybe it might be best if I called the police.
