This section provides background information regarding the world in which the story takes place, including sections on the development of heavier-than-air flight, the environment and denizens of Mars and Venus, and a brief description of the major nations on Earth in the early summer of 1885.

It's primarily intended for writers.

And credit where credit's due, the concept of there being an ethereal connection between Venus, Earth and Mars is lifted from an old RPG called Space 1889, as is liftwood.
