Back to the airship!

Valnora had done her part in allowing Jarlaxle to collect on the long overdue blood pact, using a demonic poison she had snuck into cups of water for the family in a form of a servant. She then her demonic magic to cast a spell of silence over the room to suppress the sounds of the family in dying agony, showing her true self for that brief moment, before she shifted into the Ursula human form that she was using to draw attention to the sudden **** event. Prior to that, though, she had given Cat some magical devices that would allow them to grab any treasure chests inside, so that they are not lost to the Dark Elves of Pythorias.

So now the final stage in Matron Mother Indira's blood-fueled earth magic was now in the works, as the entire city of Deirdre began to shake violently. Rocks and buildings began to crumble and fall, and the entire guild went into motion. Trini & Sakura were the first to reach the airship, as they worked to get as many of the maids-in-waiting inside, as they could. Deraxle was next to arrive, using his magic to hasten his own evacuation, and even did a detour to grab one worthy peasant family out of the crowd that had gathered at the front gates. Cat was next, jumping over the fallen debris of stone and wood, as he dashed inside. Cesar, Janissa, and their new recruit, Sashya, came out seconds later; the sheer strength of the Draconian evident in how she pushed aside the heavy stone blocks, woo'ing even Deraxle himself.

"Where's Valnora?" Cesar looked out as they got as many of the others inside as they could.

"She should be here by now, if she isn't trying to fight off the royal guards!" Janissa looked to Cesar, and then looked up. "Look, up there!"

They saw the succubus, in her Ursula human form, up on the crumbling ramparts up above. The towers now began to crumble, as they got the airship disembarked, and worked to get it up as fast as they could. Valnora waited patiently, feeling the stones crumble beneath her, but did her best to keep her balance. Then it gave way, and the succubus timed her jump as accurately as she could, leaping for one of the ropes that hung at the front of the airship's balloon. Despite being in that petite human form, she managed to grab a hold of the ropes, and with some help from Deraxle, Trini and Sashya grabbed a hold of the rope, and started to pull her onto the deck. Others came over to help, and as the airship began to steer clear of the collapsing city, they pulled Valnora onto the deck.

"They almost didn't believe me." Valnora looked up, and gave a soft grin in her Ursula human form. "But the deal is complete, and now I am free to be a part of your guild, at least for now."
