Back in her office.

"I said, Do you get me?" Virginia says, raising her voice. You stammer and nod vigorously. "Good. You're suspended for a week. Now get out of my office."

Closing the door behind you, you shake your head to try and clear it. Taking a deep breath, you drag yourself to your desk. You stifle a scream when you see Djal spinning around in your chair, poking at the computer screen in confusion. "This scrying mirror is broken. It doesn't respond to my commands. Mirror! Show me the King of this land. Mirror!"

You scurry to the restroom and lock the door behind you. You turn the taps on and wash your face, only to see Djal's face next to mine in the mirror. "Fuck me sideways!" you cry out, nearly jumping out of your skin.

"Don't flatter yourself. You're not my type." Djal says, looking you up and down. "Hm. Definitely an improvement from when we first met. But will you please fix your sleeves and trousers? You look ridiculous."

"You're real?! How, what, why, who, what!" you say, pawing at the mirror.

Djal rolls his eyes and grunts. He reaches out from the mirror and grabs your wrist. He drags your hand down along a shirt sleeve and the fabric extends magically to fit perfectly. "What the-" you start to say. "Fix the other one and your trousers, and then we'll talk. Don't forget the chest as well."

Amazed, you run your hands along your body, watching the clothes go from almost bursting at the seams to fitting comfortably. "What did you do to me?"

"Thank you, now that you stopped looking ridiculous, we can talk. But not here. It would take too long. Where can we go to talk?"
