Ayumi and Anna rehearse a scene

"Well..." you look over to the script of 'Race Relations: Lez be Friends' and get an idea, "...if Anna wouldn't mind giving us a hand I'd like to see you rehearse a scene."

Anna looks at you with a wide eager grin. "Of course!" You could tell Anna quite liked Ayumi and wanted to help the teen look her best.

Ayumi give you a bright smile and nods. "Okay!"

You stand up and pass the script to Anna. "Scene 5." You say.

You walk around to the front of the desk as the two women move over to the couches to look over the script. Anna leads the discussion, making suggestions and providing a few pointers from a veteran's perspective. Ayumi for her part listens attentively and provides a bit of feedback here and there. A few times they whisper so that you can't hear what they are saying. They sit against each other side by side. Their body language involves a lot of touching; hand on knee, hand on shoulder, even foot on foot. There is an easy and natural warmth between the women, like they'd been close friends for years. Even next to Anna the teen looks petite, and Anna wasn't that big herself. You figure Ayumi couldn't be over 5 foot tall and likely less than 100 pounds.

You lean back onto the front of the desk, crossing your arms you wait for them to get ready. Once more the niggling awareness that the real Rossi could show up at any moment comes back to you. If only you could keep this life forever. With time a growing concern you say, "Okay, that's enough. Let's try the scene. It'll be rough but just ad-lib where you need to."

"What is ad-lib?" Asks a confused Ayumi, looking to you then to Anna then back to you.

Oh yeah, limited English. "If you don't know what to do next, just make it up as you go."

Anna squeezes her arm in encouragement, "Don't worry, you'll be fine."

Ayumi nods once more. "Okee dokee." She holds up two fingers to give you a peace sign.

Anna looks to you and jokes, "Oh my god, she is adorable. Can we adopt her Joseph?"

You laugh. Anna really liked this kid, this should make the scene that much better. "Okay, without further ado..."

"Ado?"

"Don't worry about it Ayumi." You smile, "Okay, Action!"
