Awkward Arrival

Tammy quickly walked over to the door, ready to undo the lock. She let her top pillow fall, and started undoing the lock. As soon as she undid the last lock on the door, she felt the door instantly push open as Alice went right past, panting, and hanging her head. Alice said between pants “Whew... it’s really... hot... outside...”

Tammy quickly realized that when Alice turned, she’d see Tammy awkwardly wedged into the corner, flashing her bare butt towards her. Quickly, she turned around and picked up the other pillow, placing it across her chest.

After Alice regained her breath, and turned around a few seconds after Tammy had picked up the pillow, she turned towards Tammy, and nothing could prepare her for the sight, not even knowing it was coming. Here sat her long-time best friend, naked as the day she was born. Her red hair shined in the light coming in from the window above the foyer, and Tammy was looking awkwardly down to her left. She looked incredibly tense, clutching a small pillow to her chest with all she had. You could see the sides of her medium sized breasts spilling out from behind the pillow, but still the covering managed to hold in the majority of the important bits. She looked further down, noticing her bare stomach, and how it seemed to have a perfect proportion of size to the rest of her body. Looking down even further, she was squeezing a red, heart shaped pillow with some lettering on it. The squeezing had caused it to bunch up, showing all but the intended place she was concealing. Her bare, toned hips, and lower down her thighs, squeezed together to attempt to conceal as much as possible. Lastly, her bare calves, and bare feet brought a solid end to Alice’s long, drawn out look over her friend’s body. She was so shocked, not only about her friend telling the truth about her being naked, but that her friend was actually very beautiful, and attractive. She was at a loss for words, then realized she was staring, and looked away.

“Sorry. I’ll uh... go to the kitchen and make something to eat.” said Alice, in a low mumble.

“Just go sit on the couch, I'm making some pancakes.” said Tammy, her voice quivering a little.

The two walked right by each other, and Alice couldn’t help but look again, this time seeing her from behind. She took in the perfect curve around her rear, the way her thighs looked even more beautiful from the back-side, and how you could see a fair portion of breast spilling out the left side of the pillow.

As Tammy rounded the corner, she took a deep breath, and brought the blue pillow at her chest to her face and lightly screamed into it. She’d thought it would be embarrassing, and found it was even more embarrassing than she thought. Having her friend stare at her like that, look her up and down at least twice, was mortifying. She didn’t know if she could face her friend again, after being seen like that.

Tammy took a few deep breaths and returned to making breakfast. She had to turn her 6 pancake breakfast into a 3 pancake breakfast, so she could split it with Alice. Once both plates were ready, she realized she’d have to take them both, leaving at least one arm occupied. After several minutes, she was able to place one plate in such a way as to cover her crotch, and held the other plate with an arm draped across her chest.

As Tammy walked into the living room, Alice pretended not to stare by looking at her phone, but looked at her friend and saw her friend approaching her, awkwardly holding one plate between her legs and the other held by an arm poorly replacing the job of the pillow. She could see almost all of the breasts, and it appeared the intention to cover them entirely had been given up to effectively cover the nipples. Between her legs, the awkward position of the plate was somewhat funny to Alice. She was finally beginning to understand that her friend was naked, and she was going to stay that way the whole time. The shock was beginning to wear off for the two of them, and as they ate they continued stealing glances at each other. Alice’s face slowly formed a slight grin, and minutes of silence and occasional looks later it turned into a smile. Tammy was still very embarrassed, red all the way over her face. She had covered her chest in 3 pillows, then began eating with the plate still strategically positioned between her legs. Every time she caught Alice looking at her, Alice seemed to smile a bit, and then that smile began turning into a wider, and wider smile, until it was clear she was covering her mouth after every bite to stifle a laugh. Finally, Tammy couldn’t take it any more.

“What’s so funny?” She asked, the anger in her voice leaking out.

“Well... this whole situation. Here we are, haven’t talked in over a year, and for some reason we’re sharing breakfast on the couch and one of us is naked.” Alice said with a laugh.

“Believe me, it’s crazy to me too. I’m absolutely mortified right now.” Tammy said, covering her face. With her hands.

“You? Imagine being **** to go over to a friend who you thought never wanted to see you again, then you find out that she’s naked, and you still have to come inside the house. Then you come inside, and here she is, full moon and... all the bits just hanging out. Now we’re trying to have a conversation, and you’re trying your best not to stare, but being that the only things to look at are the house you’ve seen every bit of, or the naked girl on the couch, you can’t help but look. Now neither one of us want to be here, and we’re being **** to try and be friends again when one of us is too embarrassed to talk, and the other is too distracted to talk. I bet you think I’m some perv right now... I’m sorry for staring.”

“It’s fine. I can’t blame you. I still say I’ve got it ten thousand times worse. Would you want to be naked in front of me? How about knowing you’re gonna be naked in front of me for a little over 7 hours? I promise you, I’d definitely swap shoes if I could. Not that I can though.” Tammy quipped.

Alice started to laugh, and shortly afterward Tammy started to laugh too, and just as each one began to calm down, the other started laughing again. For the next two hours they sat down, recalling the old days of running through the woods to each other’s houses, the various small pranks they’d played on each other, and the numerous times they’d opted to play at her house instead because Alice’s mom was doing laundry (which meant ALL of her laundry). They laughed, and both seemed to forget that one was wearing clothes, and the other wasn’t. They were simply enjoying each other’s company, in spite of the situation.

“I’ve missed you a lot Tammy. So have the rest of us.”

“I know. I got so caught up in the getting drunk, partying, smoking, and boys I forgot all about you guys. I wish I’d stopped and realized how much of a jerk I was to everyone. Especially you.”

“I know you didn’t really mean it. I’d ask to hug, but I’d rather not right now.”

“Same here, I’ll just chill comfortably on the couch.”

“Don’t you need help studying? I thought that’s why I came over.”

Hours and hours passed by, Alice helping Tammy through make-up projects, and Tammy working very hard at her work for spring break. True, she still was a little embarrassed, but she didn’t mind her friend coming close to her on the couch, to help her with a harder question, or with a difficult sentence. When they finally finished 1/4th of the work, they decided to stop and watch TV. Alice looked at the clock, and saw it was 5:50. She decided she’d better head home. Alice stood up, and began walking to the door, Tammy following closely behind with her pillows covering.

“I really want to stay, but I’ve gotta go. Talk tomorrow?” asked Alice, a hint of hopefulness in her voice.

“Talk tomorrow.” Said Tammy, opening the door and carefully keeping the pillows in place.

As she stood behind the door, watching her friend go, she sighed. They hadn’t hung out in years, and all it took was being **** to hang out in a room together to reforge their friendship. Sure, it’d take some more healing, but she felt happy knowing Alice was back in her life. As Tammy cleaned up, she realized she’d been nude for over a day now, and had spent over 7 hours naked in front of another person! True, she’d covered her womanhood and nipples with pillows and other objects the whole time, but it was still basically naked. They’d spent the first few hours making jokes about her nudity, but eventually it became of lesser and lesser importance, until both of them barely noticed it at all. The rest of the evening went by uneventful, and Tammy made a much better make-shift bed from the throw pillows being piled on top of her laid out form on the couch. She fell asleep much later that night, thoughts about the day’s events keeping her awake for hours.
