Chapter 2

Who will Todd's dad date?
Ava Addams
Ava was excited. She'd been hesitant to use a dating app but her girlfriends had convinced her to give it a try and boy was she glad she had! Rex was a real catch! Wealthy, good looking, gentlemanly.
They had met in public on their first date, as was only prudent, but she was comfortable with him picking her up at home on the second one.
And when he said he had forgotten the opera tickets and needed to stop by his home, she didn't hesitate to come in. Rex was trustworthy and she was curious to see his home.
She was looking at picture on a shelf when she heard someone walking up behind her.
"Did you find the...oh!" She exclaimed. "You're not Rex!"
It was an understatement. The young man in his late teens or early twenties was a slovenly mess, in sharp contrast to the sharp-dressed businessman.
"I'm Todd," he said. "Rex is my dad."
"Oh! Oh, nice to meet you!" She said. "I'm Ava!"
Rex had said he was a widower, but he hadn't mentioned a son.
"Yes, Dad told me," he said. "He showed me your picture. You're prettier in person."
"Oh! Well...thank you!" She said.
The young man gave off a decidedly creepy vibe. He was not doing much to hide the fact that he was checking out her figure. His skin was sallow and his left eye drooped a bit and there was an odor that Ava couldn't place but definitely didn't like.
She hoped Rex would return soon.
"Your father and I are going to the opera," she said, as something innocuous to say and as a reminder that she was there to date his father, not for him to ogle.
"Yes. Once he finds the tickets," Todd agreed. "You just have to wait until he comes back with the tickets."
"Yes...yes, I have to wait for Rex," Ava agreed.
It was perfectly true, but something about how Todd said it was just so odd and yet so compelling. She just had to agree with him. Which was silly. She had been waiting for Rex before his son had even come in the room. Of course she needed to wait for him.
But that seemed more important now, some how.
"You really like dating my dad," Todd observed. "I can tell. Anytime he asks you out, you'll want to say yes."
Again it was true, but the way he said it...it was creepy, but she couldn't help but nod her agreement.
"You don't mind waiting, right?" He said. "No matter how long it takes, it's fine. You're chill. I can see that about you."
"Yes, I'm chill," she agreed. "I don't mind waiting."
She had never described herself as'chill' before, but he wasn't wrong. She didn't mind waiting for Rex. Why would she mind?
"It's a great chance for us to get to know each other, Ava!" He grinned. "Since you're dating my dad, we should be friends!"
"Yes. Yes, we should be friends," she agreed. She didn't have any friends half her age, but it did make sense, given that she was dating his dad.
"You're just so friendly, Ava!" He exclaimed. "That's what I like about you! You're just friendly and nice and generous! No wonder my dad wanted to date you. It's like you just want everyone around you to feel good!"
"Well yes, of course I do!" She said.
"Like before, when you caught me staring at your tits, you didn't make it weird or try to stop me, cuz you're a nice person and you know I like your boobs, so why not let me look, right?"
"Right!" She said, nodding in vigorous, friendly agreement.
"I'm really agoraphobic, so I hardly ever leave the house," Todd explained. "I hardly ever get to see a nice pair of jugs in real life, so I have to take advantage when I can, right? You understand, don't you Ava? As friendly as you are, you probably never object when guys check you out. You just probably take it as a compliment!"
And she did, of course. Why wouldn't she? It clearly made the young man feel good. Why not be friendly at let him enjoy the view while she waited for his dad?
And then she thought of something to ask him.
What does she ask him?
