Attitude adjustment

You decided that it’s been more than enough, so you grab your phone quickly and open the app for a first test run. It won’t be very much that is going to be changed, just a rather subtle adjustment so you two can communicate better. So you type it in the app, click the confirm button and pray.

You need to close your eyes as the brightness of your phone exceeds everything you have ever registered before. A few seconds later you open them again, looking right at your phone screen.

“Did this actually work..man that was weird” you mutter to yourself and slowly realize that the shouting in a high pitched voice is done. The same person stands in front of you the same way, except she has a wide smile on her face like nothing bother her at all. “A-are you okay mom? Don’t worry please I’m picking her up right away”. You expect the worst but not this response “Oh hun..that is no issue..would be a good opportunity for me to get some groceries. You are probably so worked up from your day so far, I wouldn’t want to torment you like that!”

She leaves the room, collecting a few dirty clothes of you and closes the door gently whilst humming some radio songs. Wow now you have proof that this thing is really working and that the powers are seemingly endless. Everything you can express with words will become reality! That’s what I call good news!
