Attempt a lethal takedown

Well he’s poking around my camp full o' stuff, gonna guess bandit. Besides, I don’t wanna take any chances this far from civilization. He’s gotta die.

You leave the cover of the brush and sneak towards him holding your morning star. Your footsteps are nearly mute on the soft grass beneath your boots. Drawing closer you can make the figure out more clearly. He seems to be a human man who wears simple leather armor with a hood to conceal his face. At his side he carries a short sword as well as a dagger.

Gods, I hope I’m right about him bein’ a bandit. If I pull an adventurer’s badge off his corpse I’m gonna feel really guilty.

Now mere feet behind him, you figure out what he is looking at. The man holds up a pair of black lace underwear you save for special occasions. He raises them to his mouth and nose and inhales deeply.

Those are clean ya damned pervert. Yer not gonna catch a whiff of anythin’. Least that kinda justifies killin’ him.

You silently stand tall, bringing up your mace above his head. With every bit of dwarvern fury you have, you bring it down hard on his head. An unhealthy CRACK rings out across the camp as he immediately hits the ground.

Well, that’s him dead. Though rule #2 of killin’ monsters, always double tap.

You bring it your morning star down on him one more time before standing back. His fragmented head spills blood and brains across the earth of your camp.

Gods, the damage left by a morning star is disturbin’ at times.

You kick his body away from the main part of your camp. A quick search of his person reveals he was looting your camp. You reclaim your items as well as a few coins from his coin pouch. Changing into your nightwear, you notice an unfortunate blood stain on your bedroll left by the bandit. You do your best to remove it, but the bulk of it will have to wait until morning. Your morning star doesn’t leave your side as you sleep uneasily.
