Attack In The Night

You are jolted out of your sleep by the sudden sharp blast of trumpets sounding the alarm from above. You fling yourself out of your hammock, throwing on your armor and grabbing your weapons faster than you would have believed possible. Kyrie is doing the same, the two of you maneuvering around each other with **** ease. Within a minute, you are clambering up onto the deck, Kyrie right behind you.

As you scramble up onto the stern deck, you are already surveying the oceans, looking for enemy ships. Kyrie dashes for the tiller, while your marines take up their positions along both sides of the deck.
