At her desk

You walk up stairs to see mom at her desk on her laptop, as you walk into the room she finishes up typing and puts the screen down on her laptop.

Mom removes her glasses and places them on the desk " how was your nap ? "

" great, I haven't slept that well in such a long time " you smile and say.

" so I wasn't making to much noise up here then ? " mom asks

With a puzzled look, " what noise ? "

" oh I went for a run on the treadmill " mom replys. " it's a very good way to relieve some stress and work away a few pounds " as she points at her own belly

You grab your own belly flab and giggle a little. You and your mom continue your conversation, mostly about your bodies and you playing sports in the past.

" but enough about that for tonight, let's relax with some wine " as she gets up and heads into the kitchen. And she pours two glasses.

You both have a few glasses of wine and skip dinner. You and your mom have a good buzz going. The whole time in between talking you both also had texting conversations going on, on your phones.

" well mom, I'm kinda buzzed, so I'm gonna go lay down " you say after you take your last sip of wine.

" wow me too " as your mom giggles a little. She stands up from her chair and told a the table a little. You walk over and give her a hug goodnight.
