At a gay bar

Elliot didn’t want to be here. He’d agreed to come to the gay bar only because it was his brother’s birthday, and Damien had absolutely begged him to come with. And Elliot loved his brother, but the whole… lifestyle… was a little lost on him.

The jerk had ditched Elliot to go dance, leaving him hovering awkwardly by the bar. A guy approached him, tall and tan with broad shoulders and muscled arms. Elliot was simultaneously jealous of this guy's looks and embarrassed to realize he was being eyed up.

"Hey there, handsome." The guy leaned against the bar next to him. "My name is Jacob. Can I buy you a drink?"
