Asking around the market street

You walk the market street and ask the merchants if they’ve seen anyone matching Krest’s description. Most demand coin in return for such information which you turn down, avoiding the possibility of getting cheated out of gold. You eventually talk to a little girl who seems to be selling flowers and she gives you the information. Out of gratitude you purchase a lavender colored flower for one silver and place it in your hair. You make your way to the Slumbering Giant which is known to be the nicest inn in town. Just looking at the building confirms this. Its likely out of price range for the majority of adventurers.

You enter the building and the calming smell of burning candles washes over you. The entire inn is silent. There is no bar in this inn, so the tables sit people mostly just doing quiet activities. Behind it sits a withered old man who greets you quietly as you approach.

“Greetings dwarf, are you looking to rent a room?”

“Uh not quite, my friend Krest has a room here and I was lookin’ for him.” You say leaning on the counter.

“Ah yes Sir Krest, if you’re looking for him, he’s over in 1C. Though he might be asleep by now.”

“Thanks.” You say patting the counter before leaving for room 1C. You head down a nearby hall and find a door labeled 1C. Giving the door a couple knocks yields no response as you decide to try looking through the keyhole. Just barely, you can make out Krest’s sleeping form. Trying the knob, the door pushes open a crack as Krest seems to have forgotten to lock it. Enter?
