Ask to see the Man Grove Tree

Well, if this Man Grove Tree is of some sort of significance in the town, it'd make sense for you to get to see that. You ask the girls if they'd show you that and they both laugh, and Hailee claps her hands with excitement.

They throw the remains of the picnic food into a bin, and lead you through the town to road by a street on the edge of it, near the pub, that borders on a small forest.

There's a rusty old flagpole here, and they tell you to wait while Hailee tugs at the rope on the side of it until a red flag is raised, and flaps softly in the gentle breeze.

"What's that for?" you ask.

"Tradition," says Sherry, smiling, and the two young women lead you off into the woods.

You follow them along some narrow tracks and paths for a while, and soon you'd be totally lost if not for your guides. it's nice here in the forest, all green light and pleasant shade, and you'd happy to wander along after the giggling girls.

You eventually emerge in a clearing, empty save for one large tree standing in the middle of it, its trunk smooth up to about eight feet above the ground. on the side of the tree facing you, about seven feet up, there's a small chalkboard fixed, with a little shelf beneath it with a few pieces of chalk on it.

"Welcome to the Man Grove!" cries Hailee, grabbing your arm and leading you over to the centre.

"This is the Man Grove Tree," Sherry says, following close behind you.

"What does it do?" you ask, confused.

"It measures men," she replies, smiling, "It will let us know how much of a man you are.. it could make you very popular."

Hailee spins you around and pushes you up against the tree, so that your back is flat against the trunk.

"Now, try to reach around behind you, so that your hands are touching."
