'So...' you start, slipping closer to Xharlion. Both Xharlion and Litiny look up at you. 'Anything...in particular catch your fancy?'

Xharlion turns away from you and gestures to the cart. "Everything in here is high quality. I'm particularly intrigued by the magical theorems posed in these tomes. I've only skimmed a few pages but it seems like a worthy read." He looks at Litiny. The blunet's ears were twitching. His head tilted to the side.

"But...Uh...I'm not sure I would be able to buy them - ahem...I mean it would be most unbecoming to buy a tome and have it destroyed on the trek to our destination...yes...this would be bad." You raise an eyebrow at the sputtered reasoning.
